Default Does Sarah Palin joining Fox News?

    Hello,
Add to their reputation for fair and balanced news? She was quoted "It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news." Does having a ex-vise presidential non-hopeful moose hunting grandmother deliver the news make it more "fair and balanced news" or just funnier to watch as the nation crumbles?

I don't think you can hold a newscaster's past against them, at least not out right. Every journalist probably has personal feelings regarding SOMETHING they covered. The key to good journalism isn't that journalists are bias free, its they they parrot (all) the facts without introducing their bias.
Give to every other human being every right that you claim for yourself that is my doctrine. He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself. - Thomas Paine

Even unwanted humans should have rights.

You should never hold a newscaster's past against them. But you should hold lies and holes in their reasoning against any chance of their being elected. Take for instance the news this week. Palin wants more oil wells drilled on land and on coast. She lives for sound bites. If we just happen to take a bomb from Iran while our minds are diverted by the foolishness of this new brand of tea party women, could you depend on these armed hillbillies to respond according to the Constitution? Why not simply have a poll of Limbaugh listeners to decide who we kill? At this time in our political American values we have two choices: The Democrats will redistribute our wealth and the GOP will exterminate those in the the Party who are heretics. Our choice is between Socialism and a theocracy.....

Every human, wanted or not should earn their rights not look to a government. The time to teach kids right from wrong is NOW! Telling children they are sinners will get us the culture and values that we have today. I see nothing in America that would try to force you into an abortion. But our American values are based on individual freedoms and choices. You have my permission and the government's permission to live by any supernatural set of myths that you want. I learned last month that early Christians worshipped snakes. Our founders used the herbs furnished by the indians to stop pregnancies before, during and after the war. When these hypocrital Americans ran out of the herbs, they began to practice sodomy. This was common all over Europe until birth control was introduced.

Unwanted humans are your responsibility and let's see how many you have adopted or taken in. Many convents all over Europe showed how many unwanted fetuses were buried in the courtyards. Read a little before you pontificate your values.

Unwanted humans are NOT my responsibility, unless I conceived them.

And to add to that...responsibility. With rights, comes responsibility. So yes, if you conceive a child, unwanted or not, you are responsible for that human...not me. Don't think you can ask how many I have adopted as though that "wins". Your faulty blame isn't going to be fixed no matter how many kids I have or have not adopted. Byt the way, what if I adopted 2 kids? Does that change anything? Does that make your point, or mine?

According to your logic, how many should I have to adopt, anyways Sandra? What is my responsibility for unwanted pregnancies? What is my responsibility for someone else choosing to engage in risky behavior? Care to list that out, with specifics? Like how many kids? How much money? How many hours of babysitting? Can's of food? Insurance co-pays? Don't be shy.

Personally, I don't like Palin, but I trust her more with protection of the US Constitution, and following it more then I do Obama and his "spread the wealth", Obama-care and his characterization of AZ bill.... "misdirected expression of frustration over our broken immigration system." HA! Did it ever occur to Mr. Obama, that the frustration is BECAUSE HE IS FAILING AT HIS JOB TO PROTECT THE US BOARDER?

    I am guessing not.

OK so ban abortion for reasons other than religion, that's simple enough. State can accept a duty to protect the unborn.
As for choice, its no use if you can't afford to choose. I would prefer advocating a system where abortion was restricted but funded. Pisses off both sides equally.

I concur with Chris, they are your responsibility and the state's once they're born.
How can you stigmatise someone who has already stigmatised themselves by wilfully taking life
